Ultra Guest
Accessibility
Ultra Guest aims to make guest-facing and hotel-facing surfaces usable by everyone. This page describes our accessibility target and the checks that guard it. It is a statement of our readiness and approach toward the European Accessibility Act; it is not a conformance certification.
Our target
- We target WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA for guest-facing flows and operator consoles.
- New interface work is built with semantic structure, sufficient colour contrast, keyboard operability, visible focus, and touch targets of at least 44×44 px.
Automated checks
- Accessibility checks (axe) run in the test suite against both guest surfaces and operator consoles, and are part of the release gates. Colour usage is tokenised and linted so contrast and theming stay consistent.
Languages and direction
- The platform is bilingual day-zero (English and Arabic) with full right-to-left (RTL) support, and additional languages can be enabled. Layout uses logical (direction-aware) properties so RTL renders correctly.
Ongoing work and feedback
- Automated checks do not catch every issue; manual review and assistive-technology testing continue as surfaces evolve.
- Accessibility problems can be reported to your hotel or to the Ultra Guest team, and are treated as defects to fix.
